Why Should Everyone in The Home Do Training?

It is vitally important for everyone who lives in the home to abide by the dog training rules at all times, for the REST OF YOUR DOG’S LIFE and FOR THE LIFE OF EVERY DOG YOU GET HEREAFTER! I literally cannot say that enough! That subject is for another blog. The reason is if you have only one person following the 5 rules, then the dog will still misbehave because he/she will know that they [the dog] is the Alpha of the people NOT following the rules. With that, the dog will not change any behaviors towards those people. Even small children can be taught how to follow rules; therefore, they will easily understand how to follow the “dog rules.” I mean, from a very young age, children are taught rules, so it stands to reason, they should understand there are rules for dogs too? It is really just that simple. Once everyone in the home is on the same page for following the 5 GR’s, aka Dog Calming Code, then the dog can relax & not have to worry over their humans!
